  • "Service" โ€” refers to the plumbing and home repair services offered by KasihSalur, including Tap Cartridge Service, Toilet and Bidet Repair, and Multi-Bathroom Refit, as well as any related website or communication channels.
  • "User" / "You" โ€” any individual or household who accesses this website, submits an enquiry, or engages KasihSalur for any service.
  • "We" / "Us" / "Our" โ€” refers to KasihSalur, operating from 67, Jalan SS 2/24, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
  • "Content" โ€” all text, images, pricing, descriptions, and other materials published on our website.
  • "Agreement" โ€” the binding arrangement formed when you request and we confirm a service visit or booking.

By accessing our website or requesting our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Our services are intended for persons aged 18 and above who have the legal capacity to enter into binding arrangements under Malaysian law. If you are booking on behalf of a household or property, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we ask that you refrain from using our services or website.

Service Description

KasihSalur provides residential plumbing services in Petaling Jaya and surrounding areas of Selangor, Malaysia. Our current service offerings include:

  • Tap Cartridge Service โ€” replacement of ceramic cartridges in kitchen and bathroom taps, including basic descaling and hot/cold balance check (RM 235).
  • Toilet and Bidet Repair โ€” repair of cistern, flush mechanism, seal, and connected bidet sprayer in a single toilet unit (RM 285).
  • Multi-Bathroom Refit โ€” coordinated fixture replacement across two bathrooms in a single planned visit (RM 1,500).

Service availability is subject to scheduling capacity and geographic reach. We reserve the right to decline or defer a booking when circumstances prevent us from meeting our standard of work.

User Responsibilities

To allow us to carry out work safely and to a good standard, you agree to the following:

  • Provide accurate information about the scope of work needed when making an enquiry.
  • Ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible on the agreed date and time.
  • Inform us in advance of any known structural issues, prior repairs, or conditions that may affect the work.
  • Refrain from interfering with or modifying work in progress without prior discussion with our technician.
  • Use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
  • Avoid submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information through our contact forms.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website โ€” including text, imagery, service descriptions, pricing, layout, and branding โ€” is the property of KasihSalur or used with appropriate rights. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of this content without written permission.

Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of labour for the described scope. Pricing is subject to confirmation prior to the start of work.

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service visit unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash and common digital payment methods. Accepted methods will be confirmed at time of booking.
  • If additional work is identified beyond the original scope, a revised cost estimate will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
  • In the event of a cancellation by the customer with less than 24 hours' notice, a call-out fee may apply to cover scheduling and preparation costs.

All prices listed are based on standard residential conditions. If site conditions present unusual complexity, pricing will be adjusted transparently and discussed with you beforehand.

Service-Specific Terms

The following apply specifically to the nature of our home plumbing services:

  • Scope of visit: Each booking covers the specific scope described in the service tier requested. Work outside that scope will be discussed separately.
  • Access and preparation: The customer is responsible for ensuring that water supply shutoffs are accessible and that the work area is cleared before the technician arrives.
  • Completion checks: All work is followed by hot/cold flow testing and a basic inspection before the technician leaves the premises.
  • Pre-existing conditions: KasihSalur is not responsible for deterioration or failure caused by pre-existing infrastructure problems not related to the service performed.
  • Rescheduling: We will notify you as early as possible if a booking needs to be rescheduled on our end, and will offer the next available slot that suits you.

Disclaimers

Our website and its content are provided as is, for informational purposes. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that all information is complete, current, or free from errors at all times.

Service descriptions are intended as a general guide. Actual outcomes may vary depending on site conditions, fixture age, and other factors outside our control. We will communicate clearly if a different approach is needed.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional engineering advice, building inspection, or a structural assessment. Customers with complex plumbing infrastructure concerns are encouraged to seek a full evaluation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, KasihSalur shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or website.
  • Loss of income, business disruption, or damage unrelated to the specific work carried out.
  • Failures caused by pre-existing defects, aging infrastructure, or third-party components not installed by our team.
  • Losses arising from force majeure events, including but not limited to floods, power outages, or public emergencies.

Our liability in any matter related to a specific service visit shall not exceed the fee paid for that visit.

Indemnification

You agree to hold KasihSalur, its team members, and any associated parties harmless from any claim, loss, or cost arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us at the time of booking.
  • Any access-related restrictions or conditions at the property that were not disclosed.
  • Misuse of any information published on this website.

Termination

Either party may cancel a confirmed booking with reasonable notice. For bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice by the customer, a partial call-out fee may apply.

KasihSalur reserves the right to withdraw from a booking if site conditions pose a risk to our team, if the agreed scope is materially different from what was described at enquiry, or if payment arrangements are not met.

Provisions in these Terms relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive the conclusion of any service arrangement.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage both parties to first attempt resolution through direct communication.

If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes may be referred to mediation under the Mediation Act 2012 (Malaysia). Should mediation not resolve the matter, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Selangor as the primary venue.

Customers may also seek assistance from the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) for eligible consumer disputes.

General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written service confirmation, constitute the full agreement between you and KasihSalur in relation to our services.

Severability: If any clause is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full effect.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it subsequently.

Assignment: You may not transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
